Stewart Fletcher Studios

This  program is ideal for those wish to work independently with the guidance and supervision of an experienced artist.  Designed for the intermediate or advanced level artist or student, my independent study program will encourage the student to work creatively in a disciplined and organized way.  Working on one's own combined with an encouraging and meaningful exchange of ideas along with  an intensive period of guidance will help the participant come to an understanding of his or her own creative processes.

Each student will schedule to meet  with me on an individual basis four times per session. Each meeting will be 1.5 hours in length and will involve a review of your creative goals and a constructive critique of your work and a discussion of recommended research and reading materials.

Depending on on the number of participants in the program I will also try to have all my independent studies students will meet once during the session for a one and a half hour group review of everyone's work. This will provide an opportunity for everyone to share and exchange ideas and learn how to present and talk about their work.
