I love the forests, the thickets, the quiet eddies along the lake shores and river banks. Therefore, as an artist, I am not interested in painting or drawing artificial structures. I try to imagine, try to see nature before the intrusion of habitat and industry. Entranced by the serenity of the sky and water of these places, I obsessively seek out spaces that have seemingly been left untouched, which is becoming an ever increasingly difficult task in the densely populated places on our planet.
I find myself wanting to be between earth, water and sky.
