On Pleasing Others

Trying to please others with the art you make should be the last thing on your mind. What is more important is that you push yourself deeper into the act of creation itself. It is all about finding your own “space” within the space that you are creating.

Connecting To Something Greater

It is about connecting to something greater than yourself. It is about immersing oneself in the intangible, and connecting to a higher source.

Doing the work

Creativity has been my salvation, a journey of personal growth. Through the work, I become more connected with the higher source.  It is only through this connection that one can evolve and find peace.

It’s About The Journey

There will be those who will not understand the journey you’ve undertaken. People may even resent the joy you have found in life and may even try to dissuade you from your path. Some will attempt to make it difficult for you as it has been with me.

Excruciating Beauty

I believe in the path of the artist. Even with the hardships and the precariousness of the present moment it is an excruciatingly beautiful way of living a life.

Remaining Connected

It is not the people on the street who matter. It isn’t important who is for you or against you. What is most important is the connection you have with the intangible and the profound connection you have with your work, a connection that gives your life meaning and purpose.

We do not choose the work. The work chooses us.

Quote Of The Day

“You pass people on the street, some are for you, some are not.”
